Governor Smt. Baby Rani Maurya inaugurated Sanjivini Fest organized by “The Uttarakhand Civil Service Officers Wives Association” at Woman ITI in Dehradun on Saturday. Governor Smt. Maurya visited stalls of handicrafts and local products made by self help groups in the festival. She talked with the representatives of self help groups and took detail information of their work and challenges.
While talking to the media Governor Smt. Maurya said that The Uttarakhand Civil Service Officers Wives Association is working for the betterment of women and local craftsmen. Women of the State can become economically empowered and self dependent through the production of local products and crafts.
