20-08-2025 : Judicial Trainee Officers Call on the Governor at Raj Bhawan.

The Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.), met with the trainee judicial officers of the 2022 batch at Raj Bhawan on Wednesday. Director of the Judicial and Legal Academy, Shri Pradeep Pant, was also present on the occasion. A group of 15 trainee judicial officers from the Uttarakhand Judicial and Legal Academy visited Raj Bhawan as part of their State Study Tour.

During the interaction, the Governor extended his best wishes to the officers and encouraged them for a bright and successful future. He said that the judiciary is the cornerstone of justice, trust, and transparency in society. The Governor emphasized that trainee officers must discharge their duties with dedication, sensitivity, and integrity.

He further noted that greater use of technology in the judicial system is essential to ensure speedy and accessible justice for all. Expressing delight at the significant participation of women trainee officers, the Governor said he expected the officers to play a vital role in making justice impartial, timely, and accessible.

On this occasion, Legal Advisor to the Governor, Shri Kaushal Kishore Shukla, was also present.
