Governor Extends Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr

The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state, especially to the Muslim community, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In his message issued on the eve of the festival, the Governor said that Eid-ul-Fitr symbolizes love, brotherhood, compassion, and communal harmony, and strengthens unity and goodwill in society. Such occasions inspire us to share in each other’s happiness, build mutual trust, and promote social cohesion.

The Governor wished peace, prosperity, and well-being for all citizens and appealed to everyone to celebrate the festival with joy, harmony, and a spirit of togetherness.
