Governor Offers Prayers at Vriddha Jageshwar, Dandeshwar Mahadev, and Jageshwar Dham

Prays for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the State and the Nation

The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), visited the sacred shrines of Vriddha Jageshwar, Dandeshwar Mahadev, and Jageshwar Dham in Almora district and offered prayers in accordance with traditional rituals. On this occasion, he prayed to Lord Shiva for the happiness, prosperity, good health, and welfare of the people of the State and the Nation.

The Governor stated that Jageshwar Dham and the entire Kumaon region symbolize our rich spiritual and cultural heritage. He said that the divine energy and spiritual atmosphere of the area provide devotees with inner peace and renewed inspiration. He further noted that the holy pilgrimage sites of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand are not only centers of faith but also custodians of Indian culture, traditions, and spiritual values.

The Governor prayed that Lord Shiva’s blessings continue to remain upon everyone and that the spirit of peace, harmony, prosperity, and public welfare in society grows ever stronger. He expressed the hope that the divine spiritual consciousness of Devbhoomi would bring positive energy, peace, and auspiciousness into the lives of all.
