Governor Extends Greetings on Chaitra Navratri and New Year

The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), has extended his heartiest greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri and the New Year (Nav Samvatsar).

In his message, the Governor said that the nine sacred days of Navratri, dedicated to the worship of the nine forms of Goddess Durga, inspire strength, discipline, patience, and positive energy. He stated that this auspicious festival symbolizes devotion, faith, and spiritual awakening, bringing renewed energy, prosperity, and enthusiasm into people’s lives.

He further said that the arrival of the New Year brings with it new hopes, aspirations, and positivity. The Governor prayed to Goddess Durga to bless all citizens of the state with good health, happiness, prosperity, and success, and wished that the state continues to progress on the path of development.
