19-01-2026 : Governor paid a courtesy call on the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, in New Delhi.

Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) paid a courtesy call on the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, in New Delhi today. On the occasion, the Governor presented two coffee table books to the President, one marking the Silver Jubilee of Uttarakhand and the other commemorating the completion of 125 years of Lok Bhavan, Nainital, both based on her visit.

During the meeting, the Governor also discussed Uttarakhand’s progress and the initiatives being undertaken by the state towards the eradication of tuberculosis (TB).
