Addressing the convocation, the Governor called upon students to play an active role in nation-building. He stated that convocation is not merely an occasion to receive a degree, but the beginning of a conscious journey from self-realisation to national responsibility.

He emphasised that the true purpose of education is not limited to securing employment, but to fostering self-reliance, innovation and entrepreneurship. Encouraging students to become job creators rather than job seekers, he urged them to explore opportunities in start-ups and enterprise development.

Stressing the mantra of “Nation First,” he said that the path to a developed India will be paved more by committed and aware youth than by government schemes alone. He urged students to keep the nation at the forefront of their aspirations and to enhance India’s prestige through their actions, character and determination.

He advised students to move forward by harmonising tradition with modernity. Referring to India’s rich civilisational heritage, Vedas and spiritual traditions, he underscored that character-building is as essential as technical competence.

Appreciating the achievements of the University, the Governor lauded its efforts in promoting research, innovation, industry collaborations and global competitiveness. He congratulated the meritorious students, particularly the gold medalists, and wished them a bright future.
