Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Uttarakhand on the auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti.

In his message, the Governor said that Lord Vishwakarma is revered as the divine architect and deity of creation, craftsmanship and construction. Vishwakarma Jayanti is also an occasion to recognise and honour the invaluable contribution of artisans, craftsmen, technicians and engineers. Their hard work, skills and technical expertise play a vital role in driving the development and progress of the nation and society.

On this occasion, the Governor wished all artisans, craftsmen, technicians, engineers and those associated with the construction and manufacturing sectors in Uttarakhand happiness, prosperity and a bright future.
