15-08-2025:Governor Extends Greetings to People of the State on the Occasion of ‘Shri Krishna Janmashtami’

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) has extended his heartiest greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.

In his message, the Governor said that the life and teachings of Lord Shri Krishna inspire us to follow the path of truth, justice, and righteousness. He expressed hope that this festival will bring love, peace, and harmony into everyone’s lives.

The Governor urged the people of the state to celebrate the festival with devotion and joy, and to imbibe the ideals of Lord Shri Krishna in their lives. On this holy occasion, he also wished for peace, harmony, and prosperity across the country and the state.
