‘Vidhi Sahayogi’ App Presented Before Governor; Aims to Provide Easy Legal Assistance to Citizens

An AI-enabled mobile application, ‘Vidhi Sahayogi’, was presented today before Hon’ble Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) by the Vice Chancellor of Soban Singh Jeena University, Prof. Satpal Singh Bisht.

It was informed that ‘Vidhi Sahayogi’ has been developed to provide legal information to the general public in simple language, create awareness about legal rights, and make access to legal assistance easier. Through the app, users will be able to access legal information, study materials, and connect with advocates when required.

During the presentation, it was stated that additional features such as online consultation, case tracking, document management, and integration with government schemes will be incorporated in the future. The Vice Chancellor informed that the app is currently under development and will be launched soon.

The Governor appreciated the efforts of the team and students involved in developing the app and congratulated them on this initiative. He stated that such innovations play a crucial role in enhancing legal awareness and empowering citizens.

The Governor also directed that the app should be regularly updated and improved to enhance its effectiveness and usability. He emphasized the need for wide publicity so that more people can benefit from it, and suggested organizing awareness workshops prior to its launch.

Secretary to the Governor Shri Ravinath Raman, Legal Advisor Shri Kaushal Kishore Shukla, and Additional Secretary Smt. Reena Joshi were also present on the occasion.
