The Governor of Uttarakhand Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) has extended greetings to all the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti, the great social reformer. Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) in his message issued on the eve of Ravidas Jayanti said that “Saint Ravidas raised his voice against the social inequalities and injustice throughout his life and fought for the establishment of an equitable society. We all should take lessons from his life to create an atmosphere of peace, love and equality in the society.
