14-11-2025:Governor interacted with children during the “Amrit Peedhi Samvaad” programme organized at Raj Bhawan on the occasion of Children’s Day.

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) interacted with children during the “Amrit Peedhi Samvaad” programme organized at Raj Bhawan on the occasion of Children’s Day. Extending his warm greetings to the children, he urged them to always dream big and move forward with dedication and hard work. Addressing the young participants, he said that children represent the hope, aspiration, and energy of the nation.

The Governor said that the day was one of immense joy and pride for him, as he was engaging with the very generation that will become the driving force in building a Viksit Bharat during the Amrit Kaal. He added that the future of India rests on the dreams, hard work, and values of today’s children.

The Governor called upon the children to keep progressing in the fields of education, innovation, creativity, and technology. He noted that the present era is marked by science, AI, and digital technology, and therefore children must equip themselves with new technologies from an early age to prepare for future challenges.

He emphasized that even at a young age, great achievements are possible. The courage of Rani Lakshmibai and Chandrashekhar Azad, and the accomplishments of today’s young scientists and athletes, stand as proof of the extraordinary potential within the youth. The Governor conveyed his best wishes to all children for a bright and successful future.
