The Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), met the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General N. S. Raja Subramani, in New Delhi today on a courtesy visit. During the meeting, they held detailed and meaningful discussions on national security and other contemporary strategic issues.

The Governor congratulated General N. S. Raja Subramani on assuming the office of the Chief of Defence Staff and extended his best wishes. He expressed confidence that under General Raja Subramani’s capable leadership, extensive military experience, and visionary outlook, the Indian Armed Forces would continue to scale new heights in safeguarding the nation’s security and upholding its proud legacy.
