14-04-2021 : Governor congratulating the children on the birth anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar

    Governor Smt. Baby Rani Maurya distributed school bags and books related to Dr. Ambedkar to more than 100 poor children on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at Raj Bhawan on Wednesday. Congratulating the children on the birth anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar, Governor Smt. Maurya said that the children should take inspiration from the life of Baba Saheb, the architect of the Constitution. The way Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar achieved achievements while facing various obstacles and social challenges in life, it is inspiring for everyone. Governor Smt. Maurya said that education is the biggest weapon through which all kinds of social challenges and inequalities can be eliminated. Children dream big and work hard and diligently to fulfill their goals. Children should read Babasaheb’s books and know his thoughts. Governor Smt. Maurya said that children should take interest in the work of social service. One should be ready to help the poor and needy.
    On this occasion, Secretary, Governor, Shri Brijesh Kumar Sant said that Dr. Ambedkar had faced inhuman conditions of social discrimination in his life. Despite this, he did not give up and achieved progress and prestige on the basis of education. Dr. Ambedkar had laid great emphasis on the basic importance of education. The spread of education is essential to achieve the constitutional objectives. He used to say that educational institutions are as important as politics.
    Social worker Shri Rahul Sonkar, Shri Deepak Chauhan and officers and personnel of Raj Bhawan were present on this occasion.
