    Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) on Sunday participated as the Chief Guest in the celebrations on the centenary year of establishment of Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) at RIMC, Garhi Cantt Dehradun. Addressing the cadets on the occasion, Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) said that Rashtriya Indian Military College is continuously making remarkable contribution in the service of the country for the last 100 years. The students of RIMC have played a significant role in the process of nation building. From the Second World War to the Balakot operation, their military capabilities and leadership abilities cannot be forgotten. Due to the shared confidence, competence and dedication of the cadets, officers and team associated with RIMC, this institute has been at the top position despite going through various challenges and is continuously marching towards excellence. Present and former cadets and teachers of RIMC and a large number of senior army officers were present in the function.
