Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) extended his warm greetings to the people of the state, especially children, on the occasion of Children’s Day.

In his message, the Governor said that protecting the rights of children and ensuring their access to quality education and healthcare is a moral responsibility for all. He emphasized that the holistic development of children forms the foundation of a strong and prosperous society.

The Governor urged children to understand the demands of the changing times and to embrace AI, technology, and innovation. He stated that the responsible use of new technologies will brighten their future and contribute significantly to achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

He expressed hope that all children of Uttarakhand and the nation live educated, healthy, safe, and happy lives while realizing their dreams.
