A special programme for women was organised on Friday at the Community Hall of the Lok Bhavan Residential Colony with great enthusiasm and traditional spirit. The First Lady, Smt. Gurmit Kaur, participated in the event and interacted warmly with the women present. Cultural performances held during the programme created a lively and cheerful atmosphere, and women enthusiastically participated in various activities.

On the occasion, Smt. Gurmit Kaur said that all the women residing at Lok Bhavan are like members of one family. She emphasised that everyone should live together with mutual cooperation, love, and harmony. She encouraged the women to openly share any difficulties or concerns so that they could be collectively addressed.

She further said that keeping in mind the health and fitness of women, a special fitness camp for women will be organised in the near future to encourage them to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.

She added that such programmes serve as a platform for dialogue, harmony, and social unity, and that collective participation helps spread positive energy within the community.

On the occasion, Financial Controller Dr. Tripti Srivastava, Dr. Pranjali Thapa, and other women were present.
