    For the happiness and prosperity of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and the people of the state, Shri Akhand Path is being organized by Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) at Raj Bhawan, Uttarakhand from 12 April to 14 April Vaisakhi. The special thing is that on this auspicious occasion in Raj Bhawan, on the invitation of Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) the descendants of Panj Pyare or Panch Pyare of Guru Gobind Singh ji are also present in this holy Shri Akhand Path at Raj Bhawan. Baba Naunihal Singh, descendant of Bhai Daya Singh Panj Pyara and Shri Gurupreet Singh, descendant of Bhai Dharam Singh, are involved in this holy event.

    It is noteworthy that for the first time, Shri Akhand Path is being organized at the Raj Bhawan of Uttarakhand. Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) has organized a 3-day long Shree Akhand Path for the happiness and prosperity of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and the people of the state. On the occasion of the conclusion of Shri Akhand Path on the day of Baisakhi, many people including the Chief Minister of the state and other dignitaries of the state will participate in it.

    It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of Sikh New Year Vaisakhi, 323 years ago in 1699, tenth Sikh Guru Guru Gobind Singh Ji founded the Khalsa Panth and selected Panj Pyare. Considering the importance of this auspicious occasion, this event is being organized by the Governor at Raj Bhawan for the prosperity of the state.
