11-12-2025 : The Governor and First Lady, Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur, distributed blankets to needy individuals at Lok Bhavan.

The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) and the First Lady, Mrs. Gurmit Kaur, distributed blankets today at Lok Bhavan to needy individuals from Shiv Mandir Brahampuri and the K.K.M. Society, Nalapani, Dehradun. Considering the severity of the winter season, this distribution programme was organized to support vulnerable sections of society. The Governor personally interacted with the beneficiaries and wished them good health and well-being.

The Governor said that extending support to the needy during the winter season is a human responsibility. He urged all social organizations, volunteers, and citizens to come forward and contribute towards helping those in need so that no individual suffers due to adverse weather conditions.
