10-01-2026 : Governor on Saturday administered the oath of office to Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta as the newly appointed Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court at Lok Bhavan, Dehradun

The Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), on Saturday administered the oath of office to Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta as the newly appointed Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court at Lok Bhavan, Dehradun. On the occasion, the Chief Secretary, Shri Anand Bardhan, read out the warrant of appointment issued by the Hon’ble President of India appointing Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta as the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court Shri Arun Bhansali, Justice Shri Ashish Naithani of the Uttarakhand High Court, First Lady Mrs Gurmeet Kaur, Cabinet Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, MLAs Shri Munna Singh Chauhan, Shri Khajan Das, Shri Pradeep Batra and Mrs Savita Kapoor, Director General of Police Shri Deepam Seth, Registrar General of the Nainital High Court Shri Yogesh Kumar Gupta, Governor’s Legal Advisor Shri Kaushal Kishore Shukla, Additional Secretary Mrs Reena Joshi, along with senior judges, senior officials, and other distinguished guests.
