09-04-2022 : Nine students from Uttarakhand studying MBBS in Ukraine met Governor at Raj Bhawan.

Nine students from Uttarakhand studying MBBS in Ukraine met Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) on Saturday at Raj Bhawan. The Governor asked about the experiences of all the students during their return from Ukraine. The students discussed the problem related to the continuation of their studies with the Governor. The Governor assured the students that the Central Government and the State Government are committed to solve their problems. Students told that there are 270 MBBS students from Uttarakhand whose education has been affected by the war in Ukraine. The Governor said that he would discuss with various medical universities and educational institutions in this regard and try to solve the problems of the students.

The students who met the Governor included Nitin Upadhyay, Bhupendra Pathak, Abhinav Chauhan, Priyanka, Aman Arora, Bhumika Dangwal etc.
