Governor Visits Military Hospital, Interacts with Soldiers Injured in Dharali Disaster

Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd), visited the Military Hospital, Dehradun, on Friday to meet and enquire about the well-being of soldiers injured during the recent natural disaster in the Dharali region.

The Governor interacted with the injured personnel, commending their exemplary courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to duty. He conveyed his heartfelt wishes for their speedy recovery and attentively heard their accounts of the incident, praising their indomitable spirit.

During the visit, the Governor reviewed the medical facilities being provided, sought a detailed briefing from the attending doctors on each soldier’s condition, and directed that every possible treatment and care be extended to them.

GOC Sub Area Maj Gen M.P.S. Gill, along with other senior Army officers, was present on the occasion.
