06-06-2023 : Governor met SSB jawans at Melaghat post on Indo-Nepal border.

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) met SSB jawans at Melaghat post on Indo-Nepal border on Tuesday. Here, the Governor met the soldiers of the security forces and inquired about their well-being and encouraged them. He also shared the memories of his 3 years of service in Banbasa with the jawans.

The Governor said that our jawans are performing their duties selflessly in difficult circumstances. We are all proud of the dedication and devotion of these jawans. The Governor said that there is a different challenge in this border area, here the jawans should remain alert by increasing their intelligence network. He also took information from the jawans about their problems and challenges. On this occasion, SSB DIG S.K. Dhyani, Commandant Suresh Kumar and jawans were present.
