IAS trainee officers of the 2024 batch paid a courtesy visit to the Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), at Lok Bhavan today.

On this occasion, the Governor advised the trainee officers to prioritize integrity, transparency, and public service in their work. He stated that administrative officers serve as a crucial link between the government and the public, and therefore must carry out their responsibilities with sensitivity and accountability.

The Governor also encouraged the officers to understand the geographical, cultural, and social characteristics of Uttarakhand and to implement schemes in accordance with local needs. He emphasized that the use of modern technology and innovation can significantly improve the effectiveness of governance and implementation of schemes.

Trainee officers Anshul Bhatt, Harshita Singh, and Snehil Kunwar Singh were present on the occasion.
