Integration of government and social and private efforts is necessary for women empowerment and girl education in the state. Only women can bring change in the society and country, if they are given opportunities.
The Governor said that the women of Uttarakhand have made an important contribution in the development of the society and the state. But Uttarakhandi women have not been given due credit for their struggle and contribution.
