03-10-2025 : A Sikh delegation paid a courtesy call on Governor at Raj Bhawan.

A Sikh delegation paid a courtesy call on Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd.) at Raj Bhawan today. On this occasion, the delegation held detailed discussions on the widespread dissemination of the teachings and universal message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in society and the preparations for the 350th Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

The delegation also discussed various social issues and their solutions with the Governor. Describing Sikh traditions and teachings as a source of inspiration for society, the Governor commended the delegation’s efforts and emphasized the need to spread the values of education, service, and brotherhood to the masses.

On this occasion, President of Gurudwara Shri Hemkunt Sahib Management Trust Rishikesh Shri Narendrajit Singh Bindra, Vice Chancellor of Punjab University Patiala Dr. Jagdeep Singh, Vice Chancellor of Shri Guru Granth Sahib University Fatehgarh Sahib Dr. Pratpal Singh, Advisor of Punjab University Patiala Dr. Dharam Singh and Dr. Kulwinder Singh of Balbir Singh Sahitya Kendra Dehradun were present.
