02-10-2025 : Governor participated in a cleanliness drive organized at Raj Bhawan premises under the “Seva Pakhwada” campaign.

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd.) participated in a cleanliness drive organized at Raj Bhawan premises on Thursday under the “Seva Pakhwada” campaign. On this occasion, he personally joined in the cleaning activity, giving a strong message of cleanliness.

The Governor said that cleanliness is not merely a task but a way of life. If everyone adopts cleanliness as a habit, the dream of building a clean and prosperous nation will certainly be realized. He emphasized that one need not go far for cleanliness; rather, it must begin at home, at the workplace, and in the surrounding environment.

The Governor called upon all officers and staff to make cleanliness an integral part of their daily lives and to inspire others to do the same.

On this occasion, Secretary to the Governor Ravinath Raman, Legal Advisor Kaushal Kishore Shukla, along with Raj Bhawan officials and staff, were present.
