01-12-2025 : Hon’ble reviewed the progress of various ongoing projects related to technological innovations at Raj Bhawan.

Hon’ble Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) reviewed the progress of various ongoing projects related to technological innovations at Raj Bhawan today. During the meeting, the project team briefed the Governor on the development of new applications and digital portals being integrated into the “Governor’s Digital Hub.” The Governor directed that all IT projects must be completed within a stipulated timeframe.

The Governor emphasized that to build a self-reliant India, it is essential to create a strong ecosystem rooted in indigenous technology, innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship. He stated that the goal of Raj Bhawan is to accelerate the Digital India mission of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji by integrating new-age technology with the energy and capabilities of the youth.

The Governor further said that today, technology touches every field, and therefore, technological participation is imperative for inclusive and sustainable development. Referring to the recent launch of the “Uttarakhand AI Mission – 2025,” he noted that the state has taken a significant step toward fulfilling public aspirations and developmental goals by adopting cutting-edge technologies.

The meeting was attended by Additional Secretary Smt. Reena Joshi, Senior Programmer V.S. Pundeer, and other officials of Raj Bhawan.
